Cuil It!

"Cuil it" might be the replacement catch phrase for "google it" in upcoming months.

Anna Patterson developed a search engine that was so good that Google bought it. She is now saying that she built a better mouse trap. Her new invention is a better search engine.

The new search engine is called Cuil. It looks a bit similar to google in the fact that it only has one query line. It's a bit mysterious with it's darker colors. She also says that this new technology is not up for sale.

Cuil is also hoping to obtain a larger userbase by not retaining search histories or patterns.

At this point Google is Google just as Microsoft is Microsoft. Can a new engine take it's place? I guess time will tell.
