New York Web Design: Akiva Auction

What is a Chinese Auction?

A Chinese Auction is a popular charitable event format featuring a raffle for each prize featured. At the end of the night, a winning ticket is picked from each gift's raffle box.

How does Akiva's Chinese Auction work?

You have the opportunity to purchase tickets in denominations of $10, $20, $35, $50, $75 or $100. You will then place a ticket or tickets-with your name on them-in the box of the gift you want to win. For example, if you would like to try and win the laptop computer which has a ticket value of $75, you would purchase at least one $75 ticket, write your name on the ticket(s), then place in the box denoted for the laptop computer.

How many coupons can I put into any one box?

There is no limit to the number of tickets you may place in any one box. The more tickets you place in a box, the better your odds of winning the prize.

How many coupons must be sold for any prize to be drawn?

As long as there is at least one coupon in the box for an item, a winner will be selected at the end of the evening.
