Congregation Shira Chadasha situated in the heart of Great Neck was established in 1993. The congregation comprised of both young & old made its big move in the Fall of 2006 when they announced the Grand Opening of the Shaare Rachamim building located on Middle Neck Road in Great Neck, NY. Within days of opening, the Synagogue became for known for its beautiful architecture and friendly atmosphere. Shaare Rachamim also became home to one of the most elegant Mikvehs (Ritularium) of its kind, Mikveh Moshe. Mikveh Moshe is found in the sub-level of the Shaare Rachamim Synagogue with its own private entrance & parking.Mikveh Moshe was constructed of high quality materials, fixtures, and our unique setting of hand painted murals. Every aspect of the Mikveh was created to be of utmost comfort, privacy and luxury and adheres to the highest standards of the Jewish law pertaining to Mikveh. Special attention is taken for cleanliness and hygiene in its lavish preparation rooms and inviting Mikveh pool.
